This year, Formula E celebrates a milestone many detractors thought it would never see. The dawn of Season 10 is a big thing for the world’s first, and foremost, all-electric championship.

For the last decade, Formula E has written its own rules, redefined what can be done in motorsport, pushed boundaries and brought top-flight racing to the people in city centres across the globe.

Last season brought a number of firsts for the championship, with the debut of the striking and considerably more powerful Gen3 cars. Such a shift in technicality was always going to bring some problems, but Formula E still delivered a thrilling title battle eventually won by Britain’s Jake Dennis on home soil in London. The fact the Envision customer team also beat the works Jaguar team to the teams’ title also emphasises just how level a playing field Formula E is.
