Description
Barry Sheene is one of Great Britain’s motor sport icons. A two-time Motorcycling world champion, Sheene won back to back titles in 1976 and 1977. A charismatic and exciting rider, Sheene was friends with celebrities such as James Hunt and George Harrison. Sheene’s victory at the 1981 Swedish Grand Prix would be the last by a British rider in Motor cycling’s premier class for 35 years, until Cal Crutchlow’s win at the 2016 Czech Grand Prix.
This is a stunning print showing Sheene in action in 1977, the year he retained his world title. Captured from an original painting by David Johnson and his palette knife. Each Giclee print is limited to a run of 150 and is signed and numbered by the artist in the boarder. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Size – 24″x34″
