Michael Schumacher’s 50th birthday to be celebrated in Maranello
Ferrari will celebrate the 50th birthday of seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher with an exhibition at the Ferrari Museum. The ‘Michael 50’ exhibition will open on January 3, 2019.
The Ferrari Museum is located in Maranello, Italy, and will look back at his seasons at Ferrari, including those from 2000 and ’04 in which he won five consecutive drivers’ championships.
Ferrari’s exhibition will also shine a light on Schumacher’s contribution to other Ferrari racing cars, as he served as a development driver and consultant for the Scuderia.
The ‘Michael 50’ exhibition will be in partnership with the Keep Fighting Foundation, a non-profit organisation benefiting numerous causes such as road safety and neuroscience. FIA president Jean Todt, Ross Brawn, Andreas Pohl and Mick Schumacher are trustees of the foundation.
