Cosworth to auction off components and collectables as it prepares expansion
As Cosworth prepares to begin the Valkyrie hypercar project with Aston Martin, the engineering firm will auction off memorabilia and components from its 60-year history online in association with H&I Auctions, from July 19-22.
Cosworth is expanding its operations for the Aston Martin partnership, and will be selling items ranging from pistons, exhausts, camshafts, air filters and brake pads.
The live online auction will also include Cosworth engine coffee table, the last Subaru/Cosworth exhaust systems, promotional artwork, engine components, photographs, parts from Formula 1, rally and IndyCar machines as well a sculpture by Tim Tolkien, great-nephew of author JRR Tolkien.
Timed online auctions will be available on bidspotter.co.uk (or bidspotter.com) from July 19, followed by a live auction from Cosworth’s headquarters which will be broadcast online too.
