Kvyat has 110 race starts under his belt during his F1 career, including 202 points, three podium finishes and one fastest lap to his name from six seasons of racing.
Last year, he finished the season 14th in the drivers’ championship and scored a season-best finish of fourth at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola.
“Throughout his career, Daniil has forged a reputation as a very quick driver, but has also shown great resilience,” Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi said.
“We are pleased to have yet another determined and talented driver in our ranks as we make our first F1 campaign as Alpine F1 Team.”
