A full championship-winning endurance racing team complete with two cars, a comprehensive stock of spare parts, race truck, pit equipment and a website has been put up for sale on the open market by Motorsport Showroom, a new specialist online marketplace for cars, spares, equipment, drives available and memorabilia.

There are plenty of gems among more than 600 items currently listed on the site, but the BMW Z4 GT3 and BMW E46 320i WTC Enduro-spec pairing stands out, thanks to the opportunity to take on a fully-operational team.

Potential buyers might choose to join the driving line-up, or recruit a full team of racing drivers – on offer is complete control of the set-up.

All shares in the Limited company are available as part of the sale which comprises both racing cars, an ex-Lotus F1 18-tonne MAN truck and all pit equipment, including wheel guns, air tanks, tyre warmers, fuel churns and digital radios.

An extensive spare parts package is included, as is some merchandise.

Workshop and storage facilities, near Stamford, are also available following purchase of the team, which is sold without any credits or debts.

The listing comes after an initial launch period for Motorsport Showroom, which has seen a range of race, rally, Hillclimb and sprint cars for sale and uploaded to the site. Aimed at the global motor sport community, the marketplace was founded by a team that boasts more than 30 years of experience in motor sport.

They describe the sale of a full endurance team as an “unrepeatable opportunity”, with opportunities such as this few and far between.
