Porsche continues to rummage through its history – this time producing an homage to the 935
Porsche has announced a spectacular limited edition 935-inspired track car at the Rennsport Reunion, billed as a “birthday present from Porsche Motorsport to fans all over the world.”
Just 77 of the cars will be made.
Beneath the familiar-looking body is effectively a 911 GT2 RS, with various elements from around Porsche’s racing range integrated. Its LED rear lights, for example, are carried over from the 919 LMP1 car, and its wing-mirrors from the 911 RSR GTE car.
Its gear knob supposedly resembles that of the 917 and 908, the latter also inspiring the protruding exhaust pipes.
Beneath the long flat-nose hood is the 3.8-litre six-cylinder twin-turbo from the GT2 RS, putting out around 700bhp.

The price? A mere €701,948.
