Ferrari has revealed all the updated car parts it will introduce in the Bahrain Grand Prix as Lewis Hamilton hopes they will solve the issues that he has been having.

Hamilton said during the Japanese GP that his SF-25 was “underperforming” compared to team-mate Charles Leclerc‘s, and that he was losing over a tenth of a second per lap to the Monegasque.

“We have found something in the car that has underperformed in the last three races. I really hope that, when they fix it, I’ll start getting better results,” said Hamilton at Suzuka.

The Briton confirmed on Thursday that Ferrari was bringing an updated package to Bahrain, the extent of it revealed on Friday in the official FIA car presentation documents.

The Scuderia will have a new floor with modified body, fences and edge that will affect the air flow conditioning. The diffuser has also been modified with the same purpose.

Ferrari is also bringing an updated rear wing, with a pillar winglet update aimed at improving the car’s aerodynamic efficiency.

Speaking about the upgrades on Friday, Hamilton was hopeful that they will make a difference

“I’m excited. We’re going to hopefully have a bit more downforce,” he said. “We lack overall performance at the moment pace-wise, which we hopefully will take a step this weekend.”

Ferrari is the team with the biggest updates this weekend, while most of its rivals are sticking with the same packaged used in Japan.

The only other three teams with minor tweaks for Bahrain are McLaren, which has a new front brake duct winglet, Red Bull with a longer chord flap on his front wing, and Haas, which is brining a wider engine cover centre exit.
