How to watch 2023 Miami GP: F1 live stream, TV schedule and start times
Watch F1 via live stream or on TV: dates and times for the 2023 Miami Grand Prix, including practice and qualifying
A 6500-mile hop across the Atlantic lands F1 in the USA this weekend, for the second running of the Miami Grand Prix.
Teams will be hoping to recover from a unexciting race weekend in Baku, where F1 tested its new sprint race format, to bring fans some long awaited wheel-to-wheel action as the title fight takes shape.
Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen have divided four wins between them in as many races, making them close favourites to take the chequered flag in Miami – although a resurgent Ferrari in the hands of Charles Leclerc could join the hunt, at least in qualifying. Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will likely lock horns for ‘best of the rest’ pride, while further back, the likes of McLaren and Haas will look to gain momentum in the midfield after slow starts.
But aside from the racing itself, the Miami International Autodrome is the real spectacle – the 3.36-mile circuit enticing a host of A-list celebrities to watch from the previously-fake-now-real marina and trackside VIP suits, as drivers battle it out.
Red Bull may be the favourites, but it’s still all to play for in Miami.

Miami circuit details and weather forecast
The Miami Grand Prix will take place at the 3.6-mile Miami International Autodrome, which includes 19 corners, three straights and three DRS zones. Based around the iconic Hard Rock Stadium American football, this temporary circuit provides many challenges to F1 drivers and will command blistering pace as well as a calm and steady hand.
Heavy rainfall is predicted on the run up to the weekend, which can often be a problem at newer circuits that are not complete with adequate draining systems. However, Miami’s dry yet humid 27 degree weather over the majority of the weekend should ensure that racing goes ahead.
Wind speeds of up to 13mph can be expected, meaning drivers may have to be slightly more careful on the throttle if they want to avoid a spin.

Who will win the 2023 Miami GP?
Another dominant Red Bull display in Azerbaijan means Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez retain their positions at the top of the drivers’ standings – making them the favourites to repeat their success in Miami. The circuit has similar characteristics to the streets of Baku – its long straights divided by a mixture of high and medium speed corners – and rewards top speed and low tyre degradation, which happen to be key values of the RB19.
But, with the only two title contenders (so far) occupying the same garage, there is always a chance of tensions boiling over and with a world title on the line, wheel-to-wheel battles could turn nasty between Perez and Verstappen if they’re forced to battle for the race win.
If they do collide, a likely frenzy between Ferrari, Aston Martin and Mercedes could ensue over podium places and a chance to be the first driver, outside of Red Bull, to capture the top step of the podium in 2023.
