After all the pre-race noise, the 2023 Las Vegas GP turned out to be a brilliant race on an exciting track – a 2024 repeat could seal its reputation
Two closely matched drivers – two of the UK’s best in saloon cars, in fact – in similar Cosworth RS500s, in dry-damp-dry conditions, on the full Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit. It’s no wonder the 1988 race is a British Touring Car Championship classic.
Steve Soper and Andy Rouse got together with Dickie Meaden in the new issue of Motor Sport to talk Cossies, with Meaden having just recently stepped out of Soper’s Texaco-liveried RS500 at Goodwood.
