Albert Park 1857

Albert Park

Melbourne has been established as an early season Formula 1 highlight since supremo Ron Walker won the race from Adelaide in 1996.

Albert Park will host the first race of the 2025 F1 season — an honour bestowed on the 3.2-mile (5.2km) street circuit for the first time since 2019.

The circuit has become a staple of the F1 world tour since 1996, and has provided more than its fair share of memorable moments.

An extensive resurfacing in 2022 means the track is also now faster than ever, with cars flying through 14 corners and four DRS zones at an average pace of 155.6mph (250.3.km/h).
