RED BULL F1 CAR
RED BULL F1 CAR
OWNERS’ WORKSHOP MANUAL
Unlike other Haynes manuals, this isn’t a book on how to solve technical issues with Red Bull’s RB6. The team’s employees weren’t to be found sitting in the pits during the 2010 season flicking through its pages trying to find out why Sebastian Vettel’s car had disintegrated in the Korean Grand Prix. And thank God for that.
Instead, this manual offers readers the chance to understand what goes into making such a competitive racer, from the design process all the way through to testing. During 2010 the RB6 claimed both World Championships, took nine wins, 15 pole positions and four 1-2 finishes. It was a seriously successful Formula 1 machine. Although some Fl fans may find this manual too technical, it is an amazing accumulation of facts and information, providing a great insight into what lies within the carbon fibre.
