Gold Cup will honour Lola

The 50th anniversary of the Lola marque will be one of the key features of the Oulton Park Gold Cup race meeting on August 24/25, with displays and demonstrations as well as awards for Lolas racing within the HSCC programme.

Aside from a full weekend of action from the regular HSCC championships, the Cheshire track will host a round of the U2TC touring car series, a double-header for the Historic Formula 2 Trophy and the Peter Hanson Trophy for 1-litre Formula 3 cars.

A large Formula Junior field will be split into two, as will the Guards Trophy with separate races for GT and sports-racers.
