Tour strengthens for second running
Ray Bellm defends his title on four-day race and rally contest
The second running of Tour Britannia is set to be a fight between Chevron B8s and Lotus Elans during the four-day race and rally event based in the English midlands. Races at Oulton Park, Cadwell Park, Donington Park and Mallory Park feature in the September 5-8 event.
Leading the field will be 2005 winner Ray Bellm, but he has opted for a Lotus Elan rather than his Ford GT40, which proved a handful on the narrow rally stages. John Sheldon will be a rival in his Elan, while the Chevron pack includes Michael Schryver, Gareth Burnett and Chris Chiles.
