What goes around...
Rosberg & Piquet, British GP
In a neat piece of historical symmetry, Nico Rosberg and Nelson Angelo Piquet locked out the front row after qualifying for the GP2 Series races supporting the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, 20 years after their fathers did the same for the grand prix itself. Rosberg, who drives for the ART team spearheaded by Nicolas Todt, son of Ferrari chief Jean, converted his pole into a win. But there was misery for Piquet who ground to a halt before the start with wiring-loom problems. Rosberg also won at Hockenheim two weeks later and is closing on points leader Heikki Kovalainen.
