Grand Prix historic race under threat
The historic race held at the British Grand Prix is under threat for 2004 following the announcement that a non-championship British Touring Car race could support the F1 feature.
Traditionally grand prix organisers are able to add one race to the set programme of F1 support races, and if the touring car event takes that slot, the historics could be pushed aside.
“The 2003 race was well received,” said a BRDC spokesman, but he also confirmed the risk to the race.
