Drive the classics at Goodwood

Andrew Frankel

You will know the Goodwood Revival Revival Meeting is the finest gathering of historic cars and drivers in the world and takes place on one of the quickest, most beautiful tracks ever built.

Go to the meeting between 17-19 September and you will see drivers such as Stirling Moss, Damon Hill, John Surtees and Sir Jack Brabham racing while the great marques taking part include Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lotus and, of course, MG.

Official beer and one of the sponsors of the meeting is `Old Speckled Hen”, named after a unique, fabric-bodied 1927 MG saloon, and it is offering one MOTOR SPORT reader and three friends the chance to drive, on October 4, classics such as a Porsche 911RS, AC Cobra, Jaguar D-type or Aston Martin DB4 around the only circuit left untouched by the modern world. There will also be skid-pan driving, karting and lunch in Goodwood House itself. Two lucky runners-up will receive tickets to the last day of the Revival, Sunday 19th September.

To win, your name must be first out of the hat from all entries correctly identifying all four drivers in the picture below, underlining which one won this famous Glover Trophy race.

To enter, simply fill in the form below and return it to us at: Goodwood Competition, MOTOR SPORT, 60 Waldegrave Road, Teddington, Middlesex TW11.

The closing date for all entries is September 3. All normal Haymarket competition rules apply and the editor’s decision is final.
