Collector with a Lancia love affair

The man behind this remarkable collection of Lancias is Gino Macaluso, a former works rally driver for Fiat in the early 1970s. The genial Italian is now the president of watchmakers GirardPerregaux but away from commerce he also runs arguably the world’s most exclusive motoring organisation, Club Italia. With just 50 members Montezemolo, Agnelli, Cantarella, Alboreto are a few of the very select names on the list the club’s admirable raison d’eire is to ensure that their collection of road, racing and rally cars doesn’t stay locked away.
