Forthcoming Lewes Speed Trials.
The next speed trials organised by the Kent & Sussex L.C.C. will be held on September 9th, with classes for touring, sports and racing cars. The course is one-third of a mile in length, and two runs are allowed per car.
Full particulars may be obtained from the Hon. Secretary, Mr. H. V. Warren, 51, Ringwood Road, Eastbourne.
The Donington Accident.
At the time of writing we hear that R. 0. Wilcoxson, who was seriously injured when Lan,gley’s Midget overturned at Starkey’s Corner, is making as satisfactory progress as can be expected. Wilcoxson suffered a fractured pelvis and back injuries, and all our readers will join us in wishing him a speedy recovery.
A Specification Booklet.
One of the most complete booklets of car specifications we have ever seen is that issued by the Singer Car Co., for their 1934 programme. Every conceivable dimension and detail of the specifications of all models are given, both of chassis and coachwork, in addition to performance figures.
We commend this example to the attention of other manufacturers.
