Christian Horner case appeal is dismissed
An appeal against Red Bull’s Christian Horner was dismissed. Horner remains cleared of the accusations.
An appeal lodged by the female employee who accused Red Bull team principal Christian Horner of coercive and controlling behaviour was dismissed ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix.
Horner, 50, has always denied the claims and was cleared by an initial independent investigation back in February.
In a statement, Red Bull GmbH said: “The complainant exercised the right to appeal, and the appeal was carried out by another independent KC. All stages of the appeal process have now been concluded, with the final outcome that the appeal is not being upheld. The KC’s conclusions have been accepted and adopted by Red Bull. The internal process has concluded.”
The employee was suspended in March and it remains unclear if she will resume her duties or pursue the case further.
