Le Mans return for Jaguar?

Jaguar’s new Indian owners could take the marque back to the Le Mans 24 Hours in the future. Le Mans was described as “the place we belong” by a senior Jaguar executive in August, while Jaguar owner Ratan Tata is known to have motor sport ambitions for his new acquisition. He is said to favour an LMP1 prototype programme at some undisclosed point in the future. Jaguar’s first factory sports car campaign since the XJ220C in 1993 is some way off, however.
