Porsches head the Tour Britannia pack

The best entry yet for Tour Britannia will contest the 2008 event, which starts from the Imperial War Museum at Duxford on Tuesday September 2.

With the ’07-winning Chevron B16 of John Grant not entered, Porsches should set the pace and Howard Redhouse and Sean Lockyear should feature prominently along with the Lotus Elan of John Sheldon. Other top entries include Chris Chiles (AC Cobra) and John Clark (Jaguar E-type).

Racing will take place at Snetterton, Mallory Park, Silverstone and Oulton Park. Selected rally stages complete the route.
