British Finale for A1GP

Brands Hatch will again host the final round of the 2007/08 season for the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport. The 11-event season will start at Zandvoort in Holland on September 30 and conclude in Britain on May 4, 2008.

The three-day event on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit will be the biggest weekend of the season at the Kent track and the third time that A1GP cars have raced there. Earlier this year, Robbie Kerr scored the first ‘home’ win in the series when he won the final round of the 2006/07 season at Brands.

The calendar features one new venue at Zhuhai in southern China, while the GP circuit of Shanghai hosts the other Chinese race.
