Marathon Summary

Members of the Historic Rally Car Register are fortunate to have a most entertaining summary of the Pirelli Marathon, illustrated with Martin Holmes’ photographs, and containing often amusing accounts of what befell individual competitors and their cars, edited by Alison Woolley. It underlines what an adventure the Marathon can be and how many mechanical upsets the older cars can develop during it. This jolly publication will whet the appetite for next year’s Marathon, showing how it is a serious yet light-hearted re-enactment of a former very famous event. Good show, Alison! WB
