VSCC Cadwell Park Meeting

A fine win in the Williams Monaco Trophy race at the VSCC’s final race meeting of the season, at Cadwell Park on Bank Holiday Sunday, clinched the MOTOR SPORT Brooklands Memorial Trophy for Chris Mann, whose Monza Alfa Romeo is shown on the right. Bruce Halford’s Lotus 16, above right, left everyone behind to take an easy win in the 12lap all-comers’ scratch race. Hamish Moffatt’s 2-litre ERA leads Duly’s Maserati 250F round an Armco-less Cadwell bend, above. Mason drove immaculately in his pristine, recently built Bugatti Type 358, below.
