Horace Victor Barlow, who was killed in a road accident on the Kenilworth-Stortebridge dual carriageway last month, was a very wellknown trade representative at all big race meetings, having heat employed by Dunlop since 1945. Two years after joining the comPanY he moved to tile racing division and rose to the position of Assistant ‘I’cchniCal Manager. During his spare time, he was a keen navigator on rallies and trials and often co-drove with the late Ken Whartoo. A bachelor, Vie Barlow was 54.
