Editor's apology
The Editor wishes to apologise for the inexperienced young female caption-writer who, in his absence, turned Barker’s Napier into a Sunbeam and Beer’s M.G. NE Magnette into a blown K3 in “Pictorial Review” last month, an inexcusable error in view of the fact that these well-known cars were correctly designated five pages further on. Moreover, the point was made that but for Barker’s crash-hat there was nothing to indicate that our picture wasn’t taken in 1908—but cars were not required to carry twin rear reflectors in that day and age!—W.
