CITROEN 2 C.V.MATTERS

CITROEN 2 c.v. MATTERS

Sir, A photograph in your August issue depicting a streamlined and “

hotted-up” version of a Citroen 2 c.v. reminded me of the interesting-looking 2 c.v. competition ” Spyder ” shown at last year’s Paris Salon. Being, no doubt, overshadowed by the fabulous DS19, it attracted little attention from the various motor journalists and we read only that its engine had been bored out to 500 c.c. What information can you supply ? Was it made by Citroen, and was it over intended for serious racing ?

I might add that I have been a willing subscriber to your magazine now for over two years, and it was largely due to one of your roadtests that I became the satisfied owner of my present 1954 car. I have the same respect for your unbiased and thorough reports ass* many other readers. So long as your present policy continues, I Shall continue to buy MOTOR SPORT. My car? 2 c.v. Citroen of course—sans modifications ! 1 am, Yours, ale.,
