ks . THE LUCAS EMERGENCY KIT
.
For the peace of mind of travellers on the Continent, Lucas makeup kits of electrical equipment suitable for well-known makes of cars, returnable if no trouble is experienced and the emergency kit is therefore intact. For example, the kit, which comes in a gailyillustrated cellophane wrapper, contains, in the case of the AustinHealey 100, an ignition coil; a distributor cover, rotor arm, contact set and condenser; brush sets for starter and dynamo; two starter brush spring sets; a box of 35-amp. fuses; a screen-wiper arm and blade; and various dynamo, starter and distributor spares, while a smaller kit contains ten lamp bulbs of various kinds.
For those setting out on Continental travels in British cars these Lucas emergency kits are a reassuring item of equipment.—W. B.
