Ab. Jenkins is claiming the International Class D 5 and 10-mile records, with the 3-litre V8 Novi-Winfield-Mobil, which, known as the Novi-Governor-Special, holds the Indianapolis lap record. It is now coupé-bodied and the speed claimed is 177 m.p.h., beating Staniland’s Multi-Union records by some 37 and 38 m.p.h.
