THE SPANISH GRAND PRIX.
Marred by the unfortunate accident in which Torchy, who was driving a Delage, lost his life, the Spanish Grand Prix was won by Divot on a car of the same make in 5 hours 45 min. I sec. Benoist and Thomas, driving Delages, being second and third. Masetti, on a Sunbeam, was forced to retire with a damaged steeringgear. Constantini was unfortunate in crashing his Bugatti, after covering one lap at the speed of 82/ m.p.h., the remainder of the Bugatti team in the hands of Goux, Pierre and Ferdinand, Viscaya and Leboux finishing fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh with the usual reliability associated with the name.
