Amongst an excellent entry, Colbourne’s Maserati 4 CM (right) and Charles’ C-Type Connaught (be)ow right) contested the All-Comers Race, the pre-war car retiring, while the Type C came fifth. The Vintage Scratch Race (below) produced a cliff-hanging duel between Harper and Footitt, the latter putting the AC / GN first over the line. The T35B Bugatti of B. B. D. Kain eventually edged Harper’s Morgan 3-wheeler into third.
