FORD has added a new 1.8-litre engine to its range of Sierra options. Producing 90 bhp, the 1,796 cc, four-cylinder engine slots in between the 1.6 E-Max (75 bhp) and the 2-litre (105 bhp) units. In concept it is similar to the 1.6 E-Man with she and “high-swirl, fast-burn”.

A new four-speed automatic gearbox is another addition to the range, though, initially, it will be available only on two-litre models. All petrol-engined cars will now have the solid panel front treatment previously seen only on Ghia models, the diesel-engined versions will retain the siia ted grille.
