Sir,
I recently suffered a case of severe mechanical indigestion on my Rover 2.6. Within an hour of being notified to the AA, Newmans of Redbridge, Southampton, badness a mechanic, diagnosed the problem and five hours later returned the car.
In the course of fixing the problem, a broken water pump drive and fan coupling, they also took the trouble to identify two other faults which I had been intending to rectify at the next service. A shining fight in these days of comments on poor service. Usual disclaimers.
