Letters from readers, cont-6., November 1960
Sir,
I enclose a photograph of my 1933 E. W . Hornet Special, which has given many years’ faithful service.
Always an exciting and invigorating car to drive, it never failed to please in some way (though also inclined to be temperamental). We completed several long runs—with a few to Plymouth and back—with a petrol consumption of about 32 m.p.g. and almost negative oil usage.
I am, Yours, etc..
C. M. D. WEYMAN.
