WORLD CHAMPION, 1950
WORLD CHAMPION, 1950
This title is deservedly won by Dr. Guiseppe Farina — and we hope it is consolation for being confined to hospital following a road accident. Alfa-Romeo take the Manufacturers’ Award. In 1951 F.I.A. has announced that the Championship is to be decided at races in France, Belgium, Germany, May, Switzerland, America and Britain — which looks as though next year’s German Grand Prix will be a Formula 1 race. Indianapolis, actually a Formula Libre event, will presumably be the American fixture.
