Details matter.
To illustrate our celebration of Goodwood’s 75th anniversary (page 68) we wanted a car which was indelibly linked to the Sussex circuit. Enter Clive Beecham with his Ferrari 250 GT SWB, the very car which was driven to victory at Goodwood’s 1961 TT by Stirling Moss. The only visible difference was the race number roundel which on Clive’s car is white rather than Cambridge blue. No matter, said the owner, and promptly arranged for an expert to apply a blue wrap for 100% period correctness.
