E-types target capacity grid

Following the record-breaking grid of 52 Jaguar E-types at last year’s Silverstone Classic, the organisers of the E-type Challenge are hoping to fill the grid to capacity with 58 cars in July.

The high-profile meeting (July 20-22) has been lined up as the key date in the calendar for the second season of the E-type-only series, which starts at Donington Park (May 5/6) and also takes in races at Dijon, the Nürburgring and Oulton Park.

The biggest-ever gathering of Ferrari F40s will be another of the big attractions at Silverstone, with more than 50 of the 1315 cars built due on show.
