WHO ARE KEN ANDERSON AND PETER WINDSOR?
KEN ANDERSON: TEAM PRINCIPAL
Started his career as a shock absorber engineer, then became a race engineer and part of the design team at Penske’s Indycar outfit. He moved on to work in Fl for six years with Williams, Ligier and Onyx before joining GForce where he designed elements for Fl and Indycar teams. Anderson then returned to the USA to establish his own engineering consulting company, Andesign, located in Davidson, North Carolina. Davidson is a few miles north of Charlotte in the industrial heartland of the American racing industry. Anderson also designed the state-of-the-art Windshear wind tunnel bankrolled by NASCAR team owner Gene Haas, who is the USA’s largest machine tool manufacturer. A number of undisclosed Fl and NASCAR teams lease time in the rolling road tunnel, which opened for business last September.
