Solloway tipped for Epynt success
Round three of the Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship is the first foray onto asphalt for the ’06 title contenders as they shape up for over 100 stage miles on the Epynt ranges in Wales.
The Brecon-based event starts on Saturday April 29 and continues on Sunday for what is always one of the most challenging events on the schedule.
Starting as favourite will be Mark Solloway, who has extensive knowledge of the roads. The similar Escort Mk1 of David Stokes will offer a big challenge in the post-historic category.
Patrick Watts won the historic category in ’05 in his Sunbeam Tiger and he will likely set the pace once again in ’06.
