Honda museum opens
Honda president Nobuhiko Kawamoto is pictured in the company’s first Grand Prix car, the RA271 of 1964, at last month’s opening of its superb new museum and Twin-Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. Richie Ginther’s 1965 Mexican GP-winning RA272, John Surtees’ 1967 Italian RA300 ‘Hondola’ and modern Spirit, Williams, Lotus and McLaren chassis are among the 450 cars and motorcycles which are Honda’s sporting legacy.
