Did you know of the death recently of JC Richmond? He had his own racing team — Ecurie Richmond — in the ’50s which raced 500cc F3 cars against the likes of Moss and one B C Ecclestone. The funeral and thanksgiving service took place at St Swithun’s Church, East Retford, on March 21.
