Rover SD Turbo

DURING April, BL announced the addition of a diesel engine to their range of Rover cars. Designated the SD Turbo, the new car uses a 2.4-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged, diesel engine built by VM in Italy. Excellent fuel economy is claimed, together with good performance compared with other diesel powered cars. The car is being launched on the European market first, but should become available in the UK by the Autumn.
