Good for the AA

IT HAS come to our notice that when it was proposed that a speed-limit of 40 m.p.h. reduced to 30 m.p.h. and another one of 30 m.p.h. to be extended, at the approaches to a small Welsh town, both the Police and AA told the Town council concerned that they considered these limits too slow. When, in spite of this, the Highways Department announced it would go ahead with one of the limits, the AA said it would make a formal objection.
