Graham Priaulx (top) managed to get into the top ten with his sports/racing Tiga SC80 with a very tidy and rapid climb. After the class runs front cover man, Thomson, was in the lead, but was beaten during the top ten run-off by Alister Douglas Osborn (centre) and David Harris (bottom left). Douglas Osborn’s Pilbeam was equipped with an experimental 3.6-litre Cosworth engine, while Harris (Pilbearn) relied on Hart power. The large sports car class contained a variety of interesting classics, amongst them this DB4GT Aston Martin of David Heynes.
