The Easr Anglian Daily News carried recently a story about a 1924 4-litre Rochet-Schneider Million-Guiet saloon which was originally kept at their French villa by the owners of Clacton Pier but which, surviving the German occupation during the war, was shipped to England in 1950. With only 20,000 miles of usage, the car has been seen in British a. Dutch vintage-car rallies but has since been laid up, along with the owner’s 1912 Mors, for some time. The car is not for sale; it is thought to be the only one of its kind in this country, where only three other cars of this make are known, anyway.
