First edict?

I shall be obliged if you will inform me if the cannon in “Tailpiece” in April edition of Motor Sport is the cannon which stands on the forecourt of that old English bastion Barbara Castle.

I note the maximum speed limit of 6 m.p.h. and take it that this is the same Castle which housed the Ministry of Transport at the time of the Battle of Hastings, when a shaft pierced King Harold’s ego.
