Breitling Disappointments
Last month we reviewed the range of Swiss Breitling wrist-watches and stop-watches imported by Louis Braham Ltd., and announced that we were testing representative models, about which we would comment later. A Breitling Chronomat, price £36, lost its computer bezel and glass after three weeks’ careful use, on the right wrist of a man who is left-handed and does not go in for strenuous sports or workshop activities. That one has gone back to Geneva for a report and the test continues with a Navitimer (£42) which is gaining rather more than two minutes a week. Readers’ comments on the watches they use when logging journeys or taking lap times might be enlightening.
