De Gaulle versus Offord

Sir, With reference to Mr. A. G. Tillman’s letter in the April issue regarding spares and service for Renault owners who were customers of Offord & Sons Ltd., Gloucester Road, London, S.W.7, we can assure them that there are other excellent authorised dealers in the same area (whose names we will gladly pass on to those interested) capable of giving first-class service. In addition, we at Renault Limited, Western Avenue, London, W.3, operate a large customer service department where they, or any other Renault owner, can bring their car for service or repair.

It may be of interest to readers to learn that less than ten days after Offords sent their letter to President de Gaulle, they placed an order with us for a new Renault 4L Estate car.
