Readers who are keen motorcyclists and campers may care to note that the first purely motorcycle jamboree (open also to vintage motorcycles, and scooters and 3-wheelers of all ages) is being held on May 25/26th at a venue in Wales some 85 miles from Birmingham. Any motorcyclist with a tent is eligible; the entry fee is expected to be 7s. 6d. a head. Various non-riding competitions, a long-distance award, and other attractions are to be provided, and breakfast, catering, and covered washing and toilet facilities are being laid on, while a film-show and the traditional bonfire and community-singing is anticipated.
